The second week in March saw small businesses and budding entrepreneurs gather together across the County for Local Enterprise Week 2023.   The week provided the opportunity for over 300 attendees to sample the range of supports that are on offer from their Local Enterprise Office across an array of events, workshops and seminars.

A flavour of the local events in Local Enterprise Week included the Student Enterprise Programme County Final, ‘Going Green - 5 Areas Businesses Should Consider’, ‘Gearing up to explore new business opportunities outside Ireland’, ‘Gaining business advantage during inflationary times workshop’ with Blaise Brosnan, MRI (Wex), the national spotlight event hosted by the Local Enterprise office Kilkenny ‘Innovate For Business Success’ .to name a few. These events focused on Business Development, Exporting, Finance and Innovation.

Cathaoirleach, Cllr. Pat Fitzpatrick concluded the week of events saying “I’d like to thank all the businesses that joined us online and in person this week and all the speakers and contributors that shared their experiences, challenges and insights at every event. I’d also like to give a special word of thanks to our team here in Local Enterprise Office Kilkenny for rolling out such an impressive programme of events.”
